Google and insurance company, Vitality, launched a global collaboration to introduce Vitality AI. This new platform will revolutionize how millions of people across the world understand and manage their health by fusing Vitality’s extensive health datasets and behavior-change expertise with Google Cloud’s cutting-edge AI and data analytics.
The introduction of Vitality AI could revolutionize life insurance and health industries worldwide.
To provide a more precise knowledge of a person’s health and lifespan characteristics, Google’s AI tools will be used to Vitality’s wide range of health and lifestyle data as part of the cooperation.
To assist prevent sickness and prolong healthy years, Vitality’s clients will receive individualized, actionable insights that are customized to each person’s distinct health, lifestyle, and major risk factors. Lifestyle decisions including exercise, sleep, screenings, and wellness coaching are among these suggestions.
Vitality’s AI platform will integrate Google Cloud’s Vertex AI platform and Gemini models with Vitality’s vast health and lifestyle dataset to deliver this customized and personalized information to clients.
More than 2,800 characteristics, including lifestyle choices, health information, clinical risk, and inclination for incentives that promote behavior change, are included in Vitality’s de-identified dataset.
This kind of large-scale, individualized health advice was challenging and frequently too generic to be useful before AI models like Gemini. This collaboration aims to lower healthcare-related expenses and increase life expectancy.
The alliance seeks to increase loss ratios, reduce operating costs, and enhance customer engagement by leveraging insights from large-scale health data and empowering individuals to act.
